
We conduct over-the-phone interviews with your employees which are recorded, edited then published online. (AKA ‘ Jobcasting’)
You pick an employee for us to interview. We schedule a phone call with that person and submit a list of topics to you to be discussed.
We’ll ask questions from a job seekers perspective. Questions like;
* What’s it like to work there?
* What kind of perks do you offer?
* Who would I be working for?
* Tell me what the first day will be like?
WHAT DO WE TALK ABOUT?
There are 3 basic types of interviews a) testimonial/day in the life b) career path: i.e. sales jobs at xyz company c) General introduction to careers at XYZ company
But you can talk about whatever makes your company unique. At the end we’ll direct them to your website to apply.
Each interview is edited down to 10 minutes or less then posted on a test site for your approval. You get one chance to edit it (i.e. remove this word or phrase) and then we’ll post it to Jobsinpods.com.
From there, here’s what happens…
WHERE IS IT PUBLISHED?
Once it goes live on JobsinPods.com the file is automatically pushed out to our distribution network which includes sites such as podcast.com, odeo, podcast alley and several other podcast directories including the popular iTunes.
Then we give the employer a simple plugin to display the audio on their corporate career site. This provides another instant audience.
Thirdly, we convert the audio for distribution to our Youtube channel. Located at youtube.com/jobsinpods, this channel has already become the 2nd most popular way to find & hear our jobcasts. In two years, our jobcasts have been viewed 130,000 times on this channel alone. For Youtube we create a ‘video slideshow’ movie using the interviewee’s digital photo.
As you can see our jobcasts are published through a variety of online channels in order to maximize their exposure online.
* NOTE: our jobcasts are very ’social media friendly’ and can easily be shared with others and posted on sites like Facebook.
